Personal Data Protection Policy of CLADESHTE CONCEPT SRL, (hereafter referred to as “ESHTE”), with its registered office in Bucharest, Sector 3, 13 Ion Ghica Street, Trade Register number J40/11010/2022, VAT 46280081, email: vorb@eshte.ro

You may object at any time to data processing for marketing purposes and to the creation of marketing-related statistics (profiling).

Commitment
ESHTE is committed to ensuring the security, protection, integrity, and confidentiality of the personal data you have shared or will share with us.

What Personal Data Is and What Data We Process
Personal data is information about an individual, such as name, surname, address, phone number, email, customer ID, location data, photograph, online identifier, bank account, preferences, etc.
To prepare and deliver the ordered products, we require your name, surname, phone number, and delivery address. These details are necessary for delivery, to be contacted by the delivery person, and to keep you updated about any order-related issues.
We request your email address to send you a confirmation of your online order. By placing and confirming your order, a sales contract is concluded with ESHTE to sell and deliver the products. The email summarizing the order, which aligns with the terms and conditions on our website, serves as the durable medium for the contract of sale.
In case of returns, we will process your bank details (IBAN and account holder’s name) to refund your money.

We process these required details to fulfill our contractual obligations (delivery, return processing, refund, contact in case of delivery issues). Here, the legal basis for processing is the contract.

Additionally, to meet legal obligations, such as those required by tax law, issuing and storing invoices, etc., we may process your data.
We may also request information about how you would like us to address you, such as Ms., Miss, or Mr., or simply by gender (female or male), to address you appropriately.
For account creation, we process a username and password, which enable us to provide account creation services. If you are assigned a customer ID, we will also process this information. Without these details, we cannot offer account creation services.
We record your preferences (order and preference history) to display your past orders and liked products, as well as to suggest products tailored to your interests, preferences, and expectations. This data is processed based on our legitimate interest in marketing.

You may object at any time to data processing for marketing purposes and the creation of these marketing statistics (profiling).

If you subscribe to the newsletter, you may receive communications regarding products that might interest you. This is a marketing-related data processing. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
If you interact with us on social media platforms, we will have access to your data according to each platform’s rules (terms and conditions, data protection policies, etc.) and the privacy settings you choose. Your profile data, account information, comments, and posted materials are stored on the respective platforms. You can contact us about any information or issues regarding our social media accounts.

Legal Bases, Purposes, and Duration of Processing
For contract execution: Purchasing products from us entails a contract that obliges us to deliver, guarantee, process returns, and resolve complaints. We will process your data until the obligations expire or the statute of limitations ends.
For fulfilling a legal obligation: regarding accounting, invoice archiving, etc. We will process the data until the legally applicable periods expire.
For our legitimate interest: for statistical purposes and marketing to customers purchasing products. We will process data for as long as this interest exists.
On the basis of your consent: If you are not a customer (have not purchased products) but wish to create an account or subscribe to updates, we request your consent. Data processing will continue as long as we have your consent, which you have the right to withdraw at any time.

Your Rights
As an individual whose personal data we process, you have the following rights, which you may exercise under the law depending on your particular situation:

  • The right to be informed about data processing.
  • The right of access, meaning the right to obtain, upon request, confirmation of whether personal data is being processed, as well as the data processed and information on the processing.

While you have the right to contact the supervisory authority at any time, please contact us first at the email address vorb@eshte.ro. We will make every effort to resolve any issues amicably.

Cookies

This website may use its own cookies to provide visitors with an enhanced browsing experience and services tailored to each user’s needs and interests. Cookies can facilitate access to the site, the shopping cart (and remember it for a later visit), save preferred items to view when returning to the site, etc.

Since we respect your privacy rights, you have the option to block certain types of cookies from this site. Cookies also provide us with information on how users interact with the site, allowing us to make it more efficient and user-friendly.

What is a Cookie?

A cookie is a small file consisting of letters and numbers that will be stored on the user’s computer, mobile terminal, or other devices accessing the Internet. The cookie is installed by a request sent by a web server to a browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox) and is completely "passive" (it doesn’t contain software programs, viruses, or spyware and cannot access information on the user's hard drive). A cookie consists of two parts: the name and the content or value of the cookie. The lifespan of a cookie is determined; technically, only the web server that sent the cookie can access it again when a user returns to the associated website.

Cookies themselves do not require personal information to be used and, in most cases, do not identify individual internet users.

Types of Cookies:

  1. Session Cookies - Temporarily stored in the web browser’s cookie folder until the user closes the browser window or logs out of the website.
  2. Persistent Cookies - Stored on a computer's hard drive (generally dependent on the cookie's pre-set expiration). Persistent cookies include those placed by a site other than the one the user is currently visiting, known as "third-party cookies." These cookies may be used anonymously to remember a user’s preferences.

On this website, we use session and persistent cookies but do not include third-party cookies.

Advantages of Cookies

Cookies contain information that links a user (browser) to a specific web server (website). When a browser returns to that web server, it reads the stored information and responds accordingly. Cookies ensure users have a pleasant browsing experience and support the efforts of many websites to provide comfortable services, such as online privacy settings, language options, shopping carts, etc.

Cookie Lifespan

Cookies are managed by web servers. Their lifespan can vary significantly depending on the purpose for which they were placed. Some cookies are used exclusively for a single session and are not retained once the user leaves the website, while others are stored and reused each time the user revisits the website. However, users can delete cookies at any time through browser settings.

How This Site Uses Cookies

Cookies provide users with a pleasant browsing experience and support our efforts to offer comfortable services through features like online privacy settings and shopping carts. They also help us generate anonymous aggregated statistics to understand how users benefit from our web pages, improving their structure and content. This is done without personally identifying the user.

A visit to this site may place the following types of cookies:

  • Essential Cookies
  • Performance Cookies

Essential Cookies

These save preferences regarding other types of cookies used and allow access to the basic functionalities of this site. They retain the user’s preferences so that settings do not need to be repeated with each visit. Our servers use these cookies to show the account with which you are logged in and to facilitate interaction with the site.

Other cookies we place to enhance site usability include cookies related to the shopping cart and Favorites list (saving information about products added), location cookies (used to determine your IP-based location for form pre-completion), and session cookies generated at access and automatically deleted when the browser closes (necessary for HTTP protocol functionality, form completion, etc.).

Performance Cookies

These include cookies from traffic analysis services, which allow for aggregate measurement of site traffic, identification of traffic sources, and provide information about the most or least visited pages and how users interact with the site. The information collected is aggregated and entirely anonymous.

What Information is Stored and Accessed via Cookies?

Cookies store information in a small text file that allows a website to recognize a browser. The web server will recognize the browser until the cookie expires or is deleted. The cookie stores important information that improves the browsing experience on the Internet (e.g., keeping a user logged into their account, maintaining products in the shopping cart, saving items in the Favorites list).

We use our own cookies to:

  • Create statistics and establish the frequency and use of different site elements (visited sections and pathways), helping us improve our website and online presence.
  • Adapt our site's presentation to your device's display preferences.
  • Record information related to your form submissions, selected products, or accessed information on our site.
  • Provide access to personal and reserved areas of our site.
  • Apply security measures, such as requesting reconnection to specific content or services after a period.

Security and Privacy Issues

Cookies use plain text formats. They are not composed of code fragments and therefore cannot self-execute or auto-run. Consequently, they cannot duplicate or replicate across networks. However, cookies can be used for negative purposes. Since they store user preferences and browsing history, they can be exploited as a form of spyware. Many anti-spyware products are aware of this and consistently flag cookies for deletion.

Generally, browsers have integrated privacy settings that provide different levels of cookie acceptance, expiration, and automatic deletion after a user has visited a site.

Since identity protection is highly valuable and represents a user right, it is essential to be aware of possible cookie-related issues. Given that data constantly travels between the browser and the website, if an attacker or unauthorized person intercepts this data transfer, the information contained in cookies can be intercepted.

Tips for Safe and Responsible Cookie-Based Browsing

Because of their flexibility and the fact that most major websites use cookies, they are nearly unavoidable. Here are some tips to ensure safe cookie-based browsing:

  1. Customize your browser settings to reflect a comfortable level of cookie usage security.
  2. If you are the only person using the computer, you can set long expiration terms for browsing history and access data storage.
  3. If you share computer access, consider setting the browser to delete individual browsing data each time you close it.
  4. Install and regularly update anti-spyware applications.

How to Disable Cookies?

You can configure your browser to reject cookies or only accept cookies from a specific website. All modern browsers offer the ability to configure cookie storage preferences. These settings are generally found in the browser’s “options” or “preferences” menu. You can also use the browser's help function for more details.
