Natural Walnut Leaf Dyeing

The pigment comes from walnut leaf tea, and the process cannot be rushed or keep pace with our culture of consumption. That is precisely what makes it beautiful.
Every shade carries traces of real plants that came from our land, and were brought to life by people.
The fabrics were carefully pre-mordanted to ensure the colors would remain stable.
The leaves were washed, dried, and then boiled.
The result is unique every time, never perfectly even.

• Pleats gathering along the right side that can be lifted and fastened with snap buttons for versatile styling
• Snap buttons along the left side, allowing variable closures and sculptural draping
• 100% Cotton sateen, naturally dyed with walnut leaf tea

The colour will gradually soften with time and wear, part of the living character of natural dye.
As each piece is handcrafted, slight variations may appear and are part of its uniqueness.
