Hand Crochet

Crochet has a rhythm of its own, and it cannot be rushed. It reminds us to slow down and reconnect.
This piece is hand-crocheted by my grandmother, out of love, and is part of the collection she worked on over the course of three months. Each piece carries the traces of her work.
The presence of metal rings adds a note of hardness, but also strength and resilience. Placed alongside natural fibers, it creates a rural–urban hybrid.
